Kehly, one of my close friends and his brother in law do that ride every year. They always have a ball. My friend doesn't do much riding during the year. His training (if he does any) usually consists of riding around the Bay Run at Five Dock near his work or a few laps of Oatley Park. He might throw in a ride or two to the Gong, but not much else.

He says the ride is usually not overtaxing,

what time of the year is the ride?

It's still stinking hot here in WA. I'm so over it. We've had 2 40 degree days this week, and the rest were very high 30's.
Hurry up winter.

Oh today is the best day of the year so far.

I'm actually wearing tights. Oh, they feel so good.

Did anyone else watch the winter olympics? Just watched a great game of Ice hockey.

Speaking of all things ice - if you enjoy ice skating & are in Melbourne and/or Victoria head down to the Ice House, the facilities are fantastic and will be a great assest to future winter Olympic hopefuls.

Nellah, the ride is usually in November. Egak if I make it down to Melbourne any time this year, I'll be sure to check out that rink.

So tonight I have applied for at least 4 jobs, here's hoping it leads to some interviews.

I just came back from an interview... fingers crossed I get through to the second stage, it looks very relaxed working environment and also has a great bonus scheme & other benefits

Good luck Rebecca and Egak... :) I hope you find a job you really like!
I'm very fortunate to have a job I love, still find very interesting after 2 years+ and wonderful people to work with!

I have been at my current workplace for just under 3 years, 1 year into the job we were acquired by a much larger company & personally I think it's gone downhill, hence why I have made the decision to move on. My aim is to apply for as many jobs I can & just to keep my fingers crossed and let nature take it's course.
